Today's conversation is with Luka and Esther of SQSH, an organization that provides free, confidential, and identity-affirming emotional support and resource referrals, by and for the St. Louis LGBTQIA+ community.
Luka (they/them), a queer non-binary Singaporean immigrant, founded the St. Louis Queer+ Support Helpline using a $5,000 grant and their prior experience working on a sexual assault helpline and volunteering at The Trevor Project. Born and raised in Singapore, a highly homophobic and transphobic country, Luka hopes to be able to immigrate to the United States.
Esther: (she/her) is a trans woman, social work student and future gender therapist who’s lived in seven states and two countries and has no intention of halting her quest for learning and discovery anytime soon.

Today's guest is Worner Leland. We cover a lot of ground in this episode, touching on topics such as sexual tools and sex toys as therapeutic devices, sex ed and harm reduction, kink and harm reduction, sex ed and harm reduction for neurodivergent clients, and trans-affirming research and education.
Worner is a queer, nonbinary human that spends their time on LGBTQIA affirming research and on sex education. They are a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with Empowered: A Center for Sexuality in St. Louis, MO and with Upswing Advocates in Chicago, IL. They are the current Research and Dissemination Liaison of the Sexual Behavior: Research and Practice SIG of ABAI, a leader of Sex Positive St. Louis, and a cofounder of the St. Louis Non-Monogamy Connection. Worner specializes in transgender health education, harm reduction based sex education for adults with and without disabilities, atypical sexual behaviors, kink behaviors, and atypical relationship styles.
